We are thrilled to share the beautiful details of Kara and David's elevated neutral color palette wedding—a soirée that epitomized sophistication and elegance at every turn. Against the backdrop of Charleston's historic skyline, Kara and David exchanged vows amidst the lush gardens of this iconic venue, setting the stage for a day filled with timeless romance.
MINIMALIST BEAUTY
The event's design featured clean, minimalist details with classic gold accents, creating a vision of understated opulence that perfectly complemented the historic charm of the William Aiken House. From the delicate floral arrangements to the crisp linens adorning each table, every element of the décor was thoughtfully curated to evoke a sense of timeless beauty and refinement. The cherry on top to this curated wedding were the thoughtful gifts exchanged. The bride’s mother surprised her with a robe to get ready in, handmade from her very own wedding dress worn when she married the bride’s father years before! The bride also had a surprise of her own though, she invited permanent jewelry artist, Coastal Couture, onsite so that everyone close to her could done a memento from the special occasion!
DANCING ON KING STREET
Following the outdoor ceremony, guests were invited to indulge in a sumptuous seated dinner within the elegant confines of the historic home. Against a backdrop of soaring ceilings and ornate chandeliers, tables adorned with gold accents and flickering candlelight created an atmosphere of refined intimacy, as friends and family toasted to the newlyweds' happiness.
As night fell, the celebration continued beneath a clear top tent adorned with twinkling lights, where guests danced the night away on a sleek black and white dance floor, serenaded by the soulful melodies of a live band. From the enchanting ceremony to the spirited reception, Kara and David's wedding at the Historic William Aiken House was a testament to love, luxury, and the timeless allure of Charleston's rich heritage.
