NO STONE GETS LEFT UNTURNED

We begin this process by really getting to know you personally, to learn your strength’s and weaknesses, so we can create a truly custom planning service for you. Great with design, but terrible with logistics? We will create a detailed planning checklist of items to be completed and their deadlines. Good with checklist and organization, but having trouble with creating your specific vision? We will take the reigns on layout, rentals, florals and all things beautiful to bring your wedding to life.


​Our process

It begins with a lengthy kick-off meeting to determine what tasks have been completed, and need to be done, to create a detailed checklist moving forward. We assist you with establishing an overall budget and suggest additional vendors as needed.

The client will be given access to an online wedding dashboard so we are kept in the loop with the planning progress. As you secures vendors, we ask that you upload copies to your A Charleston Bride wedding dashboard and update your budget accordingly. The dashboard is a amazing planning tool that includes a custom checklist, wedding timeline, budget, guest management, design studio, and notes section. This tool enables all parties to be able to check the planning progress in real time.


DESIGN & DECOR

Most custom planning clients are interested in our design & décor services. A Charleston Bride will create a detailed event design based on your personal style and wedding vision. This process begins about four-six months out from the wedding and includes layouts, florals, all rentals, lounge and lighting.

Custom renderings and design boards are created so you have a clear understanding of the overall feel of the wedding. We collaborate with the industry’s elite sourcing from vendors all over the Southeast.


PRODUCTION

A Charleston Bride will begin finalizing all details about 4-6 weeks out from the wedding. This typically includes confirming with all vendors, wedding day timeline, ceremony specifics, transportation logistics, etc.

Your team will arrive bright and early on the wedding day to direct all load in and setup of the wedding. We will direct the event according to your approved timeline and stay until the last vendor leaves. You get to arrive and leave just as your guests without any worry that everything will be taken care of.


INVESTMENT

Fee is dependent on many parameters and is based on the overall scope of work.

COSTS NOT INCLUDED

ACB staff travel & accommodations for weddings taking place outside of Charleston.

A flat fee will be added to your final invoice to cover all staff expenses including, but not limited to, event day labor, meals, parking, emergency supplies, etc. This fee will be determined by your planner and included in the contract. 

CONTRACT + PAYMENT INFORMATION

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the planning fee is required to hold your date. The final payment is due two weeks prior to the event date.

Custom weddings cannot be booked more than 9 months from the event date.

COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL

Planning meetings and phone conferences take place Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm EST. Exceptions can be made at the planner’s discretion, but weekends are reserved for weddings only.

Client correspondence should be made via telephone, email or video conference. Text messaging is avoided to prevent miscommunication.
