Honeymoon Spots

Monday, April 18th, 2011

After many stressful months of wedding planning drama, you and your hubby are ready to get out of the stressful real world and head somewhere magical.

You have earned your reward, and now it’s time to start planning the perfect honeymoon!

We wanted to share where we went on our honeymoons and had an AWESOME time!

Carrie went to Westmorland, Jamaica, W.I. and stayed at the Sea Ranch Cottage, the cottage closest to the ocean. It is 1 hour from MoBay and Negril, yet off the beaten track in a traditional fishing village. Sea Ranch has been featured in Caribbean Travel & Life: Jamaica’s Hidden Coast. This private, untouristed fishing town is definitely a must see.

Melissa ventured off to see the Trevi Fountain and the Coliseum in Rome, Italy, also known as the “Eternal City” – what better way to celebrate eternal love ; ) – Melissa and her husband stayed at The Westin Excelsior and enjoyed all the luxurious perks while still being in an exceptional location! Rome is an eclectic city, combining religion, fabulous ruins, and a modern, bustling city all into one. What’s there not to love?

Leigh and her husband decided to be adventurous. They explored Costa Rica while staying at the Arenal Nayara Hotel & Gardens, one of the top 5 most romantic hotels in the world. After being pampered in the rain forest for a few days, they traveled to the rich coast & stayed in a tree house in the seaside village, Samara.

Our honeymoons were a blast and we definitely recommend considering one of these places!

Of course we wish we could go on honeymoon #2 :) Okay, so it’s a little far fetched… but, heres where we would go if we could:

Carrie: a Bora Bora Resort

Melissa: Maroma Resort, Mexico

Leigh: Peters Island in the BVI’s, or an African safari

STUDIO R

Wednesday, April 6th, 2011

We believe that all our brides deserve top-notch quality which is why we fell in love with STUDIO R, a local stationary shop.

STUDIO R has graphic designers that pride themselves on designing custom invitations.

“No two designs created at STUDIO R are ever the same”.

This save the date was done in a post card format

Something a little busier and more colorful…

Whatever you want, they can design it!

Above are welcome bag tags.

STUDIO R will even make custom welcome maps to help your guests from out of town navigate the low country.

Even if it’s not your wedding, check out their adorable note cards that come with different sayings such as:

“I’m Thinking of You”, “Thank You”, “Hello” etc…

Okay, one more thing that we think is so clever:

Wine Tags

Put one of these cute tags on a bottle of vino the next time you go to a friends house for a dinner party… we bet they’ll want to know where you got it!

It gives it a little something extra
